slots. AIM (advanced
integration modules) are expansion cards that attach
internally to a router's mainboard. Not all cards work in all routers, so be
sure to confirm compatibility. Furthermore, some WIC and NM cards often work in
tandem. For example NM-2V cards typically have VIC-2FXS WIC-type cards installed
